I currently have an install of Windows 7 on my iMac(I'm in love with it, forever buying an iMac). I wanted to do a fresh install though and figured I would just go with Windows 8 dev preview. The only thing I use my windows partition for is gaming and thats IT. Do you guys think I'll run across any issues or will I be alright and it will play games like League of Legends, BF3 and MW2 fine without driver issues?

I would just run Windows 7. It is supported by bootcamp, and windows 8 is setup for touchscreen interfaces. Not to mention, if you are installing it for games, Windows 7 is the accepted platform for all the recent game releases. Why shoot yourself in the foot for Windows 8?

Stick to 7 for games for now. Unless you want to complicare your life with no gains.

Stick to 7 like everyone says. For the short time I played with windows 8, I feel that it's better suited for tablets than desktop computers unless the UI Metro can be turned off.

Metro can't be disabled in the dev preview, however there is supposed to be a switch in the final release.

As far as gaming goes, I wouldn't trust it. Essentially 8 is just a tarted up windows 7 at the moment so I am sure that you COULD play them, though due to lack of driver support (and remember this is a dev preview, so it is pre beta) the Win 7 drivers may only get you so far.

Not to mention you'd have to deal with the expiration date of the beta builds of win8 which may be a pain.
