i consider myself pretty computer literate. but this problem has been bugging me for MONTHs. i'm tired of it so i'm begging here to see if anyone knows how to solve it 
After the windows splash screen when i'm booting up the screen goes blank. it just sits there blank. i have to reboot. and reboot. and reboot. and reboot. it does the same thing every time. if i see a mouse cursor come into the blank screen i know its going to boot. but it takes anywhere from 6-15 trys to get into windows. i can get into windows safe mode no problem. i've tried to pinpoint the problem by reinstalling multiple times. disconnecting certain hardware one by one(usb hubs etc), and removing key software i thought was affecting it but decided it wasn't. all this to no avail.
i try not to reboot all that often but when i install new drivers or update firmware or something i dread trying to get windows started. any suggestions?
