Hello all,
I would appreciate your help. A few days ago, I completed my build (components listed below). It works very well except for one big issue. When the computer has been turned off for more than a few minutes then it refuses to boot unless I disconnect the power for more than 30 seconds. When I say that it refuses to boot, what I mean is the computer doesn't do anything when I push the power button.
I can restart as many times as I want after I have booted initially but everytime I return to the computer after the computer being off for a few minutes or more(say overnight) it simply will not boot unless I unplug the power for at least 30 seconeds. And then, when it does boot after I've unplugged and then plugged back in the power, the MOBO sends me to the bios recovery.
It does this whether or not I'm not OC'ing the CPU. I usually run my RAM at 1600 (and 1.5v) rather than the 1333 that it defaults to, but I changed it back to 1333 and that didn't fix the boot problem either.. Also, I'm running the 1204 bios.
Here is another piece of data. My computer's clock was behind by 15 minutes this morning (I had had a similiar problem last night and had adjusted the time last night.)
Any thoughts? I appreciate the help.
