boot device led

first time building a pc
everything is installed out of the case(mobo,cpu,ram,and gpu)i do not have a os or a hard drive connected yet. was wanting to see if everything posted. the led on the mobo reades 99 and the boot device led stays lit it also says the current bios setting do not fully support the boot device. press f1 to enter the bios setup
go to advenced-boot-csm parameters,and adjust the csm(compatibility support module) settings to enable the boot device

does this mean i just dont have a hard drive connected

any and all help would be great

i pluged in a ssd and now it said ae legacy boot event

Sounds like it.

You might need to enable AHCI or other options in your bios. I would start by reading the manual.
