bookmark sync in chrome

Is anyone else using the bookmark sync feature in chrome? I've tried using the "--enable-sync" flag and i can't get it working to save my life. I'm running xbuntu and the 4.0.249.43 build of Chrome.
 
I use the xmarks plugin with Chrome. The bookmark sync feature in Chrome does not work for me, most of the time.
 
I use xmarks as well

That being said the google sync method also works
 
Chrome has bookmark sync built in.... Regardless, I use Xmarks because some of my machines still run Firefox.
