what is a good board for 2600k that will allow me to fit the noctua fan, I will be using it for casual gaming, only bf3 when it comes out ( I game on my xbox now), ripping dvd's, photoshop, downloading and hacking xbox. any advice on the board? thank you.

What would help us out is to know which model of Noctua hs/f you are looking for.

I personally have the Sabertooth P67 with the Noctua DH-14. It was surprisingly simple to setup, and my temps are in the low 20's on idle and on load around 35-40.

Also, if you decide to go with the DH-14, make sure your ram is on their compatibility sheet located here. ttp://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=compatibility_ram_gen&products_id=34&lng=en

Thanks for your response. Yeah the DH-14 as well. Yeah l learned my lesson trying to install big CPU fan with corsair dominator ram once. Thank you for you help nursed people talk about p79. Should I wait or that?
