Blurry Screen

ok so I got this TV

Hooked up to my PC
Thermaltake P6 White//AMD RYZEN 7 7700X 8-Core 4.5 GHz (5.4 GHz)
MSI B650 Tomahawk AM5//Corsair H100i-PRO
EVGA RTX 3080(Hybrid)-12GB//1TB NVMe(X2)//1TB-SSD(X1)
G skill Flare X5 DDR5-6000-32GB//850W Watt EVGA PSU
Windows 10-(X64)//65"SONY-4KHDR-120Hertz-TV

And when I set herts from 60 to 120 font gets blurry why is that? Bios, Drivers and stuff like that all latest and set to default
nothing overclocked or anything

got it in ports 3 or 4? firmware on the tv up to date? got another cable to try?

pc is on port 3 and yes tv firmware is up to date

I think you need to turn on the full HDMI 2.1 features

on my hisense that has to be on to get 120 to work. not sure if sony's the same but i would assume its already on if he can enable 120. wont hurt to double check though....

According to this Rtings discussion thread, the image is interlaced to attain 120 Hz at 4K resolution. That would be why it looks blurry.

good catch, didnt think of checking rtings....

Use nvidia control panel to manually set resolution to 3840x2160 then 120hz in section 2, then set to "use nvidia" 32bit, RGB, 10 bit, full in section 3.

I set it to 12 looks ok I guess
