blurry picture for radeon 9800 pro

i replaced my geforce FX 5900 with a radeon 9800 pro a few days ago. i finally got a chance to test out some games today. i first tried Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, and i immediately notice how much blurrier the picture is. look at the crates in this picture for an example:

if you play ET, you probably know that the crates aren't supposed to look that blurry.

i am using catalyst 4.2 drivers. it doesn't matter if i turned aa or af on or off...i get the same blurriness. please help!
 
what kind of monitor? check high settings in game? why did you upgrade from a 5900 to 9800 pro? ( any paticular reason? getting same blurriness? )
 
Mine look worse than that.. 9800 Pro but it's just crates.. nothing else seems wrong to me.
 
turn your settings all the way up in advanced display but that seems normal like he said its just a crate
