got a bit of a weird situation here, and was wondering if anyone has ever heard of what I'm looking for. My boss at work got a wacom tablet (well, this one's Aiptek, but whatever) for writing notes to others during videoconferences in meetings. This has a normal USB connection. Problem is, the computer it's gonna be connected to is a good distance away and behind a wall. There's already a hole drilled for kb/ms/cat5 etc, but we'd still need a bunch of extension cables for hooking this up.
Well anyway, what i'm looking for is a way to convert a normal usb device to "bluetooth enabled" with a simple plug, and just use a usb bluetooth adapter on the computer end to let'em talk without 25+ft of USB cable. I tried looking around online, but couldn't really find anything that looked like what i wanted. Has anyone heard of something like this before? Is it possible?
