Bluetooth power consumption (iPad)

How bad is power consumption on the iPad 2/3 when using bluetooth? I know some devices will drain incredably fast (I had an Axim PDA some years back and turning on Bluetooth took it from ~8 hours down to ~4) I'm looking at iPad paired with one of the Apple bluetooth keyboards (the small aluminum ones without a keypad)
 
A microscopic amount. The ipad 3 has a bluetooth 4.0 chip which uses a negligible amount of power. So little that now they can use them on new G-Shock watches.
 
Yeah, don't worry about the.....the screen will suck down the juice...Unless you turn the brightness down.
 
I wish there were more BT 4.0 devices out. So far, just my Mac Air, 4S, and iPad 3. Of course, I only own two other BT devices...my keyboard (logitech) and my Creative Speaker, neither of which are BT4.0.
