i recently bought a dell m1330 with built-in bluetooth capability (2.0 EDR). When i powered on the system, everything seemed to work perfectly fine, however, dell loaded lots of junk wear (not as much as i expected, but it was still there) so i reinstalled vista and what not from the various drivers/apps from the included CDs.

however, now that almost everything is done, i encountered one problem with the bluetooth- its invisible. the wifi catcher on the right side of the laptop "turns on and off" the wifi and bluetooth (the wifi does disconnect) and shows the bluetooth logo. the bios recognizes that bluetooth is enabled. however, device manager doesn't seem to see any bluetooth hardware, the dell included CD doesnt detect any bluetooth hardware, and installing the driver leaves me high and dry as it wont install until i activate the bluetooth hardware (by pressing fn + f2- which doesnt do anything).
it would be the dell 355 bluetooth card if it matters. everything seems to work fine (although i need to work with the wifi driver- it keeps dropping the signals.)
