I just performed a clean install, went about installing drivers, chipset, network, Intel HD 3000, then Catalyst 13.12 drivers.

After installing the AMD drivers, I get a blue screen at reboot - irql not less or equal. Rolled back, downloaded new copies, retried with no success. Finally, I re-installed Windows completely. This time I did not install Intel HD 3000 drivers, AMD install went just fine.

Just to test, I installed Intel HD 3000 drivers at that point and I got the blue screen at boot once again.

So my question is, can those two drivers not coexist? I could have sworn I always had both drivers installed with no issues. This seems like a bug?

So, according to your sig, you have a 290X and you still want to install the drivers for the crappy Intel HD3000? Why?

Take your pick, its either the 290X or the HD3000
