It's a cool tech and if anything it'll just help stuff look even smoother, lets not even get into this argument because it always happens and gets nowhere because neither side is ever willing to concede defeat.

BP response time is ~100 microseconds without overdrive. The point is that at this response time you can use RGB-LED field sequential colour which would triple the efficiency and resolution of the panel by removing the colour filters.
 
So if I did the math right, 100 microseconds would be 10,000 fps?
