Blue or UV cathode? I can't decide...

I've had my set-up built for almost 4 months now with a window case (Lian Li PC65) and blue led fans and the works but the thing is, my window was facing a wall so I couldn't look inside my computer. Today, I re-arranged my computer so I could look into it and it looks really..dark blue. I have one of those fancy DFI Lanparty boards with UV slots and I can't decide if I should get a UV cathode or a Blue cathode..

If I go UV, will my 80mm Blue Led fans drown out the UV cathdoes?
Whats the best company to buy a UV cathode from? I'm looking for the least visible light, most UV..

If I go blue, whats a good company to buy from? I want more of a light blue colour than a dark blue...

The blue fans will, somewhat, "drown out" the effect of the UV.

IMO I'd say get blue UV fans, the ones with UV LEDs in them don't look that great if you ask me but at least you'll be sticking with UV lighting if that's how you want to go.

Personally, I'm really liking the white CCTs I've seen around lately.
 
I was origanally going to go with white cold cathodes but I found this awsome deal on my blue led fans and I couldn't resist. I guess I'm more of an impulse buyer than I had though... :D

I would rather go clear fans/white ccfl but...I dunno...that'd be expensive.

Anyway..I guess I I'll go with the blue cathode...my blue led fans already give my lanparty board's uv slots a bit of a glow. Are "aqua" coloured CCFL's, light blue? Or is that totally something different?
 
Yeah, the blue cathode will definitely drown out the UV effect. However, if you want a blue theme, you can get a dual blue/uv cathode so that all the UV sleeves and UV reactive cable will shine through a bit. Contrast also help. I find that if I use orange/red UV reactive cables and sleeving, they give nice contrast to my blue light and blue UV. Also, a nice effect I found was to get the blue UV reactive tygon tube wrap (water cooling and looks like phone cord) and wrap it around my UV lights. It looks pretty cool (can take a picture if you need one).
