Stripping of the case not much left of coolermaster production(not that it was a bad case, not at all,it just got some dents and scratches over the years.)
so lets put some of my touch to it

e4e4y7ev.jpg

Somewhere in there is my motherboard tray.or maybe im using it all.

2u5usuny.jpg

well that was the motherboard tray, some filing and some uchannel
and im good to go.

After long consideration, and fitting the radiators and the reservoir,i decided to remove the back panel of the case(with io shield cutout and vga slots)
and started to create my own one, since i will be using a verry different mounting system for gpu and motherboard(the motherboard is a littlebit lower than original in any case(,ore room for rad on top)
and i will be using gpu extensions.

Already bought the material, started to cut out the exact size for the backpanel, taped it with blue tape(easier to work with)
and now im just gonna start planning the cut outs for PSU,and mounting holes for GPU,and cutting the hole for io shield,

here are some pics, keep you posted

Cutout for Psu Mounting/and ventilation (DONE)
Now i just have to wait on my powersupply, and some more stuff,In the mean while i probably will be working on my youtube channel.

http://www.youtube.com/user/jojoharalds

Trying to get some reviews going, unboxings and mod updates.

Stay tuned!

Well Due the flue and Loads of things to do,i didnt mod much the past week,
But i Did get some nice sponsors to work with me, and i am trying to get more,
I already did some Unboxings and reviews on my new youtube channel,

And today i finally got time to do some work and more planning on my case,
The first thing i noticed, was the backplate ,i didnt like the cutout and it was not fitting as i wanted it,
I first thought of screwing it on the back ,but after a better look with cleareyes(no FLEW)
i thought of makeing it fitt directly into the case just like the original.
I did a new cutout wich was much more detailed as the older one,
Now will probably ,wait for the sponsorship items to get here, wich will be next week,
and then i will have a lot of work to do,
UNBOXING REVIEWS AND videos of the mod itself will be made.

Here are some pictures,i also took on picture of my tools (those are only the ones i used for the cutout)

Well Until next time(soon,)
STAY TUNED.

Looks real good. What do you use to cut your aluminum? and where did you you get that gauge of aluminum? I just started a project of stripping down 2 Lian Li cases and combining them for a big server case.

I use Dremel With metal Cutting wheel,i also use jigsaws with a verry fine aluminium blade, and sometimes i just drill and cut with a handsaw.

Well i started to fit in the powersupply,
Looks realy great(amazing)
there is one thing i was kinda wondering if this powersupply was only meant to be upside down(with the fan to the floor.)
I mean i like to have the fan on top, probably lots of peaple prefer this, due all the dust that can come in through the floor.
Just look at the picture and tell me what you think.
Else it fitted great, again Coolermaster thank you for providing me with this fine product.
Here are some pictures,
Keep you posted,Stay Tuned.

Here is a small Update from Today,

Started on the midplate/psu Cover,
On the Psu Cover there will also be the GPU placed(7970 Crossfire with extension)
And the Pumps will be somehow fitted on there.

Also made a cutout for the radiator because he will slightly go into the midplate
Filed down the Cpu cutout/for mounting plate(if you go back a few picture you will see it wasnt verry clean to look at so i fixed that)

Also i started on mounting the io shield mounting bracket, but i didnt complete the mounting since i will have to take it all apart when i will powder coat it all

And i also reliesed that it is better to mount the Powersupply with the fan down, since the 24pin will than be closer to the backplate and make cablemanagement much easier.

Thats it for today,Plese leave any comment on how u like it so far,

Here are some pictures ,enjoy,

Great job.

I don't know if this is a useful tip or something you already know but one thing I learned cutting plastic and braided tubing on cars is that if you wrap the area you are about to cut with the hacksaw in masking tape it produces a cleaner cut and cuts down on mess.
