Blu Ray Stutter Issues

I randomly have blu rays stutter. Audio and video stops for a few seconds then plays like normal. Its very sporadic, sometimes its once during a movie, sometimes several times. Any ideas? I updated to the latest video driver and also i made sure my bios was updated.

Amd athlon II x3 processor
8gb ddr 3 ram
nvidia gt430 graphics card with 512mb ram
Windows 7
power dvd 11
 
are u playing the movie from a file or the disc? ive always had issues trying to play a bd movie from the actual disc.

could be a setting of the software or actual drive.

In data applications a re-read is preferable to a corrupted bit, even if this stalls the read.

In AV applications, a skipped frame is preferable to a re-read.
