Here is my ?
If im going to install a blu ray drive on my comp, what should I make sure to have inorder to get the full sound capacity out of it. Im going with a nice 5.1 system, but should i look for special feature on a sound card. I want the best sound possible, what are my options?

It depends. You can either get a card with good quality analog output or you can pass it through and spend more money on the external end.

ok, well ... If I install the drive wont it be putting out digital into my mobo, then be transfered to my sound card, then as long as my sound card has an optical out i should be getting pure digital. right?

You'll be getting digital, yes. If a Blu-ray has a TrueHD or DTS-HD track, you'll be outputting a further-compressed Dolby Digital or DTS stream if you use S/PDIF output and not the original "high resolution" stream. If you output analog, you'll be outputting the original signal (converted to analog, naturally).

Some video cards can spit out audio via their HDMI outputs, which is the "best" way to handle that at the moment.
