I have a AV receiver that can pull music off my computer, however it is very slow (Dennon avr-3310ci). I don't have a stand alone CD player for the receiver. I pull .wav and mp3 files off my computer. I am considering getting on the blu ray bandwagon through a stand alone blu ray player (Panasonic DMP-BD65 http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-DMP-BD65-Blu-Ray-Player-Black/dp/B0038KN114/ref=sr_1_1?s=tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1280631443&sr=1-1 I would expect that a blu ray player that can get youtube videos could easily pull mp3s and probably even avi's off a computer. Is this common or intentionally blocked? Also have the problems with certain blu rays not playing been resolved? I mean, is it a mature technology yet?
