A friend of mine recently plugged in a cold cathode and blew his cheapo power supply, when he got a new one(antec) he plugged it in and now everything has power but when he turns the computer on there is no signal going to the monitor.

Could the old powersupply taken out teh video card when it blew?

any suggestions?
 
Sry guys but its fixed...

Despite my constant asking if everything was seated right or if he had touched everything else he finally discovered his video card had become unseated:rolleyes:

Oh well nevermind.
