HELP!!! I'VE BEEN HIJACKED!!!

I went websurfing and somehow contracted this virus called " Bloodhound.Exploit.17" that I can't get rid of. Everytime I try and go on the internet, it keeps changing my homepage to different products that people are trying to sell. No matter where I try to go, I keep landing on advertisements for stupid thIngs that I don't want. Norton Antivirus didn't stop it and "Hijack This" doesnt seem to help either (nor does Webroot Spy Sweeper) . What can I do to get rid of this menacing virus and get back to normal surfing again? :(

PLEASE HELP!! S.O.S.....S.O.S.....S.O.S....S.O.S....S.O.S.....

Sounds like spyware. Run Adaware then get rid of Norton and use AVG......

Normally I try not to be an ass...but how can such a simple solution just not be thought of ahead of time? If you know what the culprit is...generally where you found out about the thing, has the solution (i.e. virus/spyware/malware)!
