what sthe best way to achieve this for my coolant...

i keep hearing xp is crap

distilled water plus primochill Blood red dye?

I want no UV effect just pure bloody red
 
you should look in the case gallery thread. Just posted pics of my setup and im running a blood red coolant. I decided to go with Primochill Ice+ two blood red dye bombs. The primochill has a thick consistency than water had it adds a nice effect in the mini res
 
What've you heard bad about Fluid XP? From everything I've read it's about the best..

I've used both Tygon and Primoflex. They have different qualities that make them good/bad. Neither of them had better temperature performance than the other. I am now using the Primoflex only because I like having the blood red color without sacrificing performance drops due to additives.

Kinking only happens when a retarded modder doesn't know how to work tubing so that it doesn't kink. So if you've got a better reason to call it garbage then hopefully you'll try it first.
 
My friend was using Fluid XP for a little bit and always bitched about how the coolant was like syrup and was clogging his pump and actually making his temps higher than distilled water (personally I think he is just retarded). He eventually went back to distilled water and chucked the Fluid XP in the trash after I asked him if distilled water was doing so great why did he switch. He's also an idiot and buys CDs, listens to them a week and asks me if I want them. Personally I am looking at Feser for both their tubing and fluid. There is just something bad ass about a black coolant that glows bright blue under UV lighting.
 
I bought Fluid XP blood red and using it in my loop - it is nice red color, is thick like a syrop, but it doesnt matter for me.. Heres a pic of my loop running leak test.

Its way too soft IMO with or without springs and I'd rather use tubing that isn't $2.25ft if I choose to change color down the road

From what I have heard/read you ahve to mix some black in with the red to get it truly looking like blood.
 
Yea avoid the XP fluid... if ya do a google you will find lots of users ditching it due to it leaving a waxy and slimmy buildup in tubing and pumps.

Smart ass? All I'm doing is clarifying your bashing for a product that is working just fine for me. It's soft yeah but that doesn't mean it doesn't function well. And $2.25 a foot is a lot easier of an investment to make than buying additives that need to be flushed out at some point then paying anywhere from 20-30 bucks for more.

And as for you letting it go, I could really give a rat's ass. :eek: Don't talk to me about garabe posts when half of yours is selling your 2nd hand shit.

im using the feser one uv green in one of my loops right now and im impressed, it hasnt turned into any kind of gunk or gone a weird color like the fluid xp has.
 
Think that you could post pics under UV and normal lighting? How are your temps as well?

1. I don't post useless shit.... I have been almost three years in which I could have posted many times... I post when I feel fit... not to get up my post count.. you want to talk about my second shit... go for it talk to the people that are using it now and how well it is working for them without having to pay a premium for it..

2. Learn how to spell (GARBAGE) you could have copied and pasted it

4. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion (have you used other forms of tubing before?)

I have used masterkleer, tygon, primoflex, to name a few excluding kits that included tubing

As far as coolants go I typically go with dye + distilled water which has been just fine

5. Clearflex at $0.89/ft. vs Primoflex $2.25/ft. w/ fixed color tubing... I'd rather just flush and change dyes if I choose to change colors then replace all the hosing... which more times than none flushing the systems and changing dyes is a cheaper than your beloved primochill

ahhh, okay, good luck man. The primochill dye bombs work great, two of those with a little bit of the purple will give you blood red
 
Well I ordered two primochill blood red dye bombs with my stuff last night....so we'll go from there...
