Blogs Now Infested With Offensive Content

According to Scansafe's Monthly Global Threat Report for March 2007, up to 80% of all blogs contain "offensive" content and six percent are hosting active malware.

The Net's blog sites are overgrown with a variety of unpleasant content, including porn, offensive language, hate posting, and malware, says a new threat analysis.

I don't know, I think I'd rather see "offensive content" rather than some senseless ramblings of a high school girl.

Although I seem to recall a saying some time back that went something like "The world wide web gives everyone a voice, but not everyone really wants to hear what you have to say" translation, just because you can make a "blog" doesn't mean you really have to, no one gives a shit if you hate Jews/Blacks/Muslims/etc.

"Offensive" these days is a pretty damn vague word. What is offensive varies from person to person.. I have no problem with the word 'fuck' but but become livid when I read things by extremists of all kinds...

I would say the only thing they should do is get the malware cleaned up, and let everybody else have thier freedom of speech, without bitching about it!
