blocking off an access

i see some unwanted person on my wireless network. is it possible to block him off? maybe set a password to my connection? i have linksys wireless B router
 
Well, you should have enabled WEP when you first setup the router. After than perhaps enable MAC filtering for additional security.
 
look at page 47 in your manual, and it will walk you through how to disable the wan for all users but the ones you manualy allow, by mac filtering. you will need to know the mac address of your wireless card, it will tell you how to get this, and add it to the allow list, and enable it. After this point, only wireless cards with an approved mac will be able to get access to your wan/lan/internet access. you could also add in WEP security and instructions for that are found on page 72. (if you cant find your manual get it from linksys web site in pdf format.)
