Block Scripts from Running on Assets?

So, I don't want to go to HR with this......

With that said, how can I block scripts from being sent to my asset? The main example is someone within my dept (IT) is sending kill explorer.exe scripts to my asset. Just wanted to see if theres a way to block that. I have admin rights to the asset.

Also a side request, is there anyway to stop 100% anyone trying to RDP into my asset?

Sorry, my networking/security knowledge is quite small.

Block port 3389 inbound on the Windows firewall to block RDP access.

You could also block the offender's IP in the firewall, but he could easily switch IPs. Is he using his own user account or a domain admin account?

Better yet just tell him to stop and if continues go higher up on his ass.

Why would someone from your IT dept be deliberately trying to close your Windows Explorer process? This doesn't make sense to me.

If you have local admin rights to the computer, I'm pretty sure that your IT dept does too. Unless your computer is not a member of a domain? With that said, whatever changes you do to "your" computer, the IT dept will revert back...

Why don't you just go to HR if you're sure someone from your company is messing with your productivity?

I am also in the IT dept. All machines are on domain.

I would do what you suggested last however, its a bit more complicated than that. It's a culture where it may very well be normal.

Trying to make it less of a culture about that......starting with blocking those scripts
