Prob going to get some haters blizzcon haters on this thread but it's all good.
Any [H] members going? ..that's if you get a chance to get tickets they get sold out super quick!
What do you expect is going to go down this year as big news?
I'd like to see some sweet new costumes this year and some information on the WoW movie.
I have a feeling since we think they don't have much to talk about this year besides Diablo 3 and WoW there going to blow us away with something crazy and new.
$175 pretty high on tickets but if you can afford them it's something to do for the weekend my wife wants to go more then i do so i plan on taking her.

I think there was a topic made about this a month or so ago, it probably fell through the pages...

I would absolutely love to go. I live in San Jose, but I have lots of family in Southern California and I take trips there fairly frequently. In fact, my cousin lives about five minutes away from the Anaheim Convention Center. Sadly, I've decided (for now) not to go. $175 is a little too steep for me. If it were $100 or maybe $125 then I would consider it, but not $175.

The big news will be the D3 release date + cinematic trailer as well as some new information on Project Titan. That's my prediction. Cataclysm just came out last December and they still haven't released the second tier of raid content yet, so it should be awhile before we starting hearing about another WoW expansion. Perhaps more information about the next SC2 installments, but D3 will most likely be Blizzard's biggest thing for the rest of 2011 and leading into next year.

blizzcon is a waste of time. the people that attend can be categorized into 3 groups: average player who has too much money (or person blowing their hard earned savings,) journalist, and hardcore wow/sc player with too much money (or funded by someone else.) everything you need to know about the event can be learned from group two. there is nothing at blizzcon that you cant get from livestreams/breakdowns. unless you swear by that murloc space marine mini wow pet that cost you $1000 in tickets, air fair and hotel accommodations. blizzard is the apple of computer games. you dont know why you need their product until they tell you.

im going to buy an ipad because everyone is doing it, despite the fact that its basically a large iphone that cant call people.
im going to play wow because everyone is doing it, despite the fact that the game has been dumbed down to accommodate the lowest 5% of human intelligence, kind of like the ipad.
oh hey i can play wow on my ipad, score!

i highly suggest that if you are feeling a need for human contact you attempt to procure concert tickers and or drugs (preferably and.) you will have a better time and will probably not need to leave your metropolitan area.

You need a hug bro? Sounds like you spent way too much time playing WoW from looking at your past posts.
Yes we all know what happens at blizzcon thanks for informing us though here have a cookie. You make some good one liners for my signature here on the forums thanks!
It's just something to do for the weekend man. I'll bring my ipad up to blizzcon and send you a photo of me making "human contact" :)

Yeah, whenever Blizzard tells people they want a game, everyone runs out and makes them among the most popular games of all time. I don't know why more game companies don't take this approach.

I don't live anywhere near Blizzcon, and it is not something I would take a trip to do, but I will follow it online. Hopeful we see a D3 release date / beta announcement.

I know for a fact I am going!!!!!

Wifey gave me permission to go (/me hands over man card)

you dont know why you need their product until they tell you.

I'm bored and am just reading through posts (I do not enjoy WoW anymore, and am not going to Blizzcon), but yours struck me as odd.

"You don't know why you need their product until they tell you."

Isn't it like this with every company? New invention comes out. What the fuck is it? What's it do, and why would I need it? Company tells me what it is, what it does, and why I might need it. At this point I am either interested, or not interested. This is when I make the decision to buy the product, and decide if I really need it.

What's your point? All companies do this. If they didn't, nobody would know what their product is, and why it would benefit them over the others.
