My psu led in the front of my computer has been blinking since boot for a week or two now. Coinciding with this problem, my computer has been randomly freezing on me, requiring that i do a hard reboot. I originally thought that it was the hdd led that was blinking. However, i unplugged this led and (after a period of no blinking) the psu led resumed blinking. According to asus probe, the rails are as follows:

+12V: 12.416
+5V: 5.026
+3.3V: 3.36
VCore: 1.712

Is it possible that i somehow just plugged something in wrong and the 12 v rail is being sapped too much or something? I am admittedly a noob with modular psus, as this is my first one.... Any help would be much appreciated. The specs for my compy are as follows:

Athlon xp barton 2500+ (not mobile)
Xfx Geforce 6800 nu w/ zalman vf700 cu @ 400/770
Asus A7n8x deluxe
Antec Neo Power 480 W
1.5 gig ram - 1 gig stick ocz platinum and 512 stick kingmax

PSU LED or Power LED?

Can't say I've ever heard of a PSU LED on a motherboard, but I'm willing to give anything a shot. :D

The POWER LED blinking on Asus systems has nothing to with your power supply. They usually blink to tell you that the system is overheating. Since this coincides with instability, I'd say..... your system is overheating. :D

blah, my terminology is crap, sorry.

As far as temperature, my system idles around 38 C (current) and doesnt get past 115 F or so. My vid card is idling around 48 C right now. Its usually a bit lower but...my side is off because i keep playing with stuff and im lazy so bad airflow.
