Currently though Rachel, Nu, and Arakune are over powered, and Hakumen/Tager are under powered.

yeah, i heard that europe will be getting the new characters when BB comes out over there. I totally agree that the balancing needs to be evened out a bit. The upper tier characters just have way too many advantages against the bottom tier. I generally feel that if I lose to Tager, then I've played a bad match using Arakune. I will say that I hope they nerf Nu a bit, the way she controls half of the screen is just unbelievable.

Add me on PSN ( same name : thedanielrecord ) It's always good to play against good Nu players.
 
Nu isn't the biggest problem currently. Arakune and Rachel are both even more over powered by a good bit.

The problem with Nu is that she slaughters Tager and Hakumen.

When you look at most of the match ups Nu is 5.5 vs 4.5 vs most of the cast, and 5v5 against the top two and Jin. Arakune and Rachel on the other hand have a lot of 6/4 matches. Nu's problem is that Tager/Hakumen is close to 7/3, it's rather bad.

The changes are in beta, and public. Rachel, Arakune, Nu, Jin all get some nerfs. Ragna, Tager, Hakumen get buffed. Noel gets reworked a bit.

Both new people.

But yeah, I see what you mean in terms of Rachel and Arakune being 6/4 vs a lot of other character, which is more problematic than Nu being 7/3 against two. Did you read the changes for Continuum Shift ?

I've seen all the changes so far, but who knows how that will end up.

yea, still, looks bizarre. remember Justice's little blue tail thing from Guilty Gear ? I really wish continuum shift was a DLC though.... or at least not full price like what they're claiming to do with Super SF4
 
This game looks awesome. How am I just now finding out about this game?

Getting old sucks lol... Fighting + 2D + Anime = Epic win

It can't be with the amount of reworking they are doing. Also keep in mind that it is an arcade game, due to that it's an auto rerelease.

This game looks awesome. How am I just now finding out about this game?

It's release kinda got drowned out due to SF4.
