Blank screen, need your help

This morning I woke up to my mom saying the screen is black and my printing stopped. I got out of bed and looked at it, the computer fans were still running and the lights on the motherboard northbridge fan were still blinking. Before I go any further I'll tell you what the hardware is.

P4 3.2c
2 GB pc3200
MSI 865PE Neo
9800pro AIW
powercom 1500VA ups
nec dvdrw
19inch KDS

I didn't really have time to trouble shoot anything before class. All I tried was restarting it and I couldn't hear any beeps and the screen remained black the whole time the computer fans turned on and the motherboard powered up but thats about it. I don't really have any spare parts to trouble shoot anything even if I knew where to start. She was using IE printing something off when she said the screen minimized into a small dot and disappeared. The computer fans stayed on and the printing froze. The cpu was running stable and cool at 3.4. The video card wasn't overclocked since it doesn't overclock very well. I normally have this computer running for weeks at a time only to restart for a new driver update. I don't think its the monitor because when the computer is off it has the little box that says Check cable or power on the computer. I'll try hooking up my projector to make sure its not the monitor when I get home. My mom needs this computer for her tax audit tomorrow(lets just hope she backed up her quickbooks). Oh yeah the computer has a raid 0 array with two 80GB hdd's.

Can you guys give me a couple things to try before I take it into the local highly expensive computer shop. But before I go there i'll go to wal-mart to buy a cheap video card to see if that fixes the problem.

RAM could have gone out, check to see if it is loading windows or if it plays the windows sounds. Also run MemTest98+ for several hours. Check seating on the video card. Sounds to me like something overheated and fried. That's about all I can think of at the moment.
 
I can't run memtest on the ram becuase I can't see the bios screen or anything for that matter. I don't hear the windows chime either.
 
I re-seated the video card and it's working again. I'll run those mem tests now :)

Before I could run any tests it went blank again :(
I went out and bought a new ati 9200 to see if that would work. It doesn't.

Any other suggestions?
 
wow, that is my current situation. As of now i cannot run anything memtest included. I think my powersupply went out and if so it could be the same for you. Check out my thread, if they help me it may be able to help you and vice versa.
