Blank screen coming out of standby?

Not sure where to post thins, so apologize if its the wrong forum. My monitor will come out of standby if I wake it after a few minutes, any longer and I get a blank screen. However I can hear windows loading up fine. It takes several reboots, disconnecting power cord, and resets to get the dam thing to boot normal after it. Not sure if its the board of 4870x2 any ideas? Rest of my specs are in sig.

I had this problem with Vista 64 and my old ATI 1900xt card. I drivered the hell out of it and nothing mattered. I had to turn the feature off and upgrade later. Sorry, no luck for me.
