Blank PCI Cards?

Is there a place where I can get a blank full length PCI card? Something that will fit firmly in a PCI slot, with its face plate firmly in the case opening, and the back of the card held in the back holder. But otherwise completely blank. I'm having trouble routing cables around this server I'm building, and if I could get a big blank card in there, it would help routing cables quite a bit. I think a full length PCI card is 13" long?
 
What about an appropriately shaped piece of plastic? Glue a spare bracket onto the back, and sand down the bit that goes into the PCI slot if the piece you're using is too thick?

You could also drill holes for anchor points and whatnot.
 
I don't think that would work very well. I've cut plastic many times and never would the word "precision" be a good way to describe it. One thing i thought of was just buying a really old video card. But I'd have to peel back all the pins and the last thing i need is some tiny random thread of metal to fall of this card and short something out.
 
I thought of that but it would be a real mess, i'd rather get a blank some somehwere, then try and pull the pins out of a real card, and one little stray piece of metal could kill everything. Ugh.
 
you don't need to peel back the pins .. you should be able to just use a knife and cut the trace so the pins aren't actually connected to anything.

I doubt you will find a blank PCI card....
 
Get some styrene sheet and cut it to fit. You should be able to find it at most hobby shops. Are you going to be applying some load to it because I don't know how strong it is.
