Problem: I boot my PC normally (Windows XP Pro & IE7), it opens normally, but I have those issues:
1. On Internet Explorer if I go to Windows update page, the page will be blank. Same if I log-on on my Hotmail account. I download Vista checker and after I installed and tried to run it, it does nothing. I still can go anywhere else, but I receive only a blank page for certain Windows sites.
2. If I open User Accounts, I have a blank page. Nothing is show up. I still have all my accounts in place; because I checked in my computer manage properties.
3. I cant run Windows Media Player (I re-installed release 11). I still can open all my audio files with real play, or winamp.
4. I cannot run System Restore, as I receive the same blank page. I had set up a restore point but I cannot access it.
5. If I open My computer\manage, Services, on the extended tab is nothing, blank page; I can see my services only on standard tab.
6. If I try to reinstall Windows XP, I receive an error message that a hard drive is not installed. But I still can log-on and worked with all (almost..) programs.
7. I have System Mechanic and Zone Alarm set-up. I run all tests that I now (anti-virus, anti-spy), check-disk, I found nothing.
8. So I cannot change my user accounts, I cannot update my Windows OS, I cannot run WMP, I cannot check/update my System Restore, I cannot re-install XP.
