I know more than a few of us are waiting for the new Blade Runner film this year. The Cowboy Bebop guys have been working hard to give us something before then.

Nice, love the original, hopefully this and the new movie are great additions!
 
started slow for me, but got better towards the end. It took a while to remember to think of 1981 tech and not current tech. So there isn't "Cloud" storage for backups.
 
And it has been blocked by CrunchyRoll.... wonder if that was automatic or intended??
 
Pretty nice little short.

FYI, if no,one has seen Ghost in the Shell (ignore 2017 movie) and wants more of this kind of style, check out GITS:Stand Alone Complex season 1 and 2. Probably the easiest to follow, still stands up today and follows the better storyline.

The original 1995 movie and sequel (Innocent) are good but honestly they are pretty out there in terms of story telling.

Man I hope so. Bladerunner is so influential in all modern Sci-Fi and is one of my favorite movies of all time. There are so many qualities from the original that I hope make it into this version. Good to hear about jared leto not being bad, that guy was my main concern of turning the movie into a circus.

The anime short felt pretty much like the 2017 movie, imho.
