Not sure what forum I should put it in. Hopefully this is the right one. If not could a mod move it to the correct one.

Specs: I have the hp pavilion elite e9237

Base processor Core 2 Quad Q9300 (y) 2.5 GHz (95W)

* 1333 MHz front side bus
* Socket 775

ChipsetIntel G43 Express

Motherboard

* Manufacturer: Pegatron
* Motherboard Name: IPIEL-LA3
* HP/Compaq motherboard name: Eureka3-GL8

----------------------
I'm interesting in buying one of the Blackmagic Design Intensity HD Capture cards. Since my HD-PVR burned out.
--------------------------

The Shuttle version

(USB 3.0). It says you must have a x58 Chipset Series. Is it possible to use a G43 Chipset?
------
If Not
----
Pro version

With my Current Setup could I get the Pro & have it working without any issues? I know some say I should use a Raid0, where others say should just use a single Harddrive to record.

Wait. Are you trying to replace your HD-PVR with the Blackmagic? It's not going to work, that's not how the BM works. Waste of time.

I'm getting rid of my of my HD-PVR(it's broken) & want to buy BM. I just need to know if my hardware can run it.

Pretty sure I will not have any issues with the Pro.

However The Shuttle(USB 3.0) doesn't look I will be able to run it since I have a G43 system & it says I should have a X58 chipset.
