I just got a G2400W and love it. But the green power light is a little annoying when watching movies. I'd like to black it out somehow. I don't think there's a setting for it so I'm thinking maybe I can paint over it. A friend suggested black nail polish. What do you think?

yeah!! Nail polish sound like the way to go IMO..

maybe a Sharpie or marks alot!!! that would probably work too!!

A small piece of black electrical tape would work just as well. The sticky residue should clean up with rubbing alcohol.

I would avoid finger nail polish/nail polish remover. Acetone has a habit of melting certain types of plastics.

I would try electrical tape. I have it over the standby LED on my TV. Its been there for years with no problems.

I used a black sharpie on my monitor's BRIGHT LED. It dimmed it enough so that it no longer blinds me at night, but it is still very noticeable. If I wanted to get rid of it completely, I'd use a little electrical tape, as suggested. It is the easiest solution and the easiest to remove later, should you need to.
