We got a bunch of these IBM T43 laptops in at work. I wiped one and installed Windows XP from scratch, did all of the usual stuff, Windows Update, configured it how they want it, etc. to prepare it for making a base image. I sysprepped it and made the .gho image and placed it on our Ghost server. Friday I pulled a new T43 out of the box and booted from a Ghost boot CD, started network services, mapped the network drive, restored from a .gho image, from image to disk... it went through its imaging process and said it cloned it successfully. After rebooting the laptop though all I get is a blinking underscore on a blank screen. I tried re-ghosting the image for the heck of it, same results. I even used the Ghost boot CD to check the .gho image and it passed the test. Any ideas? Same laptop model, same hard drive size, specs, etc.

Bad image possibly? I have an image before sysprep also, wondering if I should try restoring that one and then sysprep it after it comes up/reboot.
