Not that this is a very critical issue for my purchase....but most cards are all built the same if they use reference designs all around....anyway. Is anyone aware if any card makers are using a black PCB for the newest gen of cards? Either X800 or 6800? I'd rather see nVidia, but I'm still open to an ATI possibly at this point. Still lookin around and was wondering (MSI K8N Neo and Audigy 2 are both black...would nice to keep the color scheme). Thanks
 
get some heat resistant paint and paint it :p

Honestly though, I've never seen a video card with a black PCB. BFG has dark blue is you can stand that.
 
I was actually looking for the same thing, since my mobo is black and the ram has black heatspreaders, audigy etc. I had an old sahpire 9700p that had black pcb but has since passed away. But no I havn't seen a next gen card in black pcb yet, I see plenty of ugly blue and purple ones though :rolleyes:

Hercules used to make ATi cards with a black pcb, but they stopped making gaming video cards :(
 
Wow, this sucks...I find it hard to believe there's no demand for black PCB's on gamecards....blah. Dark blue is about the best probably....but I almost guarentee I'll be stuck with a weird looking green one (like my current card)...but in all honestly at night with the blue glow inside I can't see any difference...not unless one was like bright pink or something
 
Paint inside your case with the same color as that green pcb. It will looks good, combo black and green with green lighted fans.
 
I haven't seen an current cards with Black PCB, BFG uses a dark Teal blue though.
