Black Ops Single Player

Yes. Its the only good part of the game IMO. Great story and fun. Multiplayer is junk.
 
Thats funny I felt the single player was crap. I personally have never likes any COD single player. Made up BS stories with no sense of direction.

Thats just my opinion
 
Lets put it this way.... I really liked the MW2 single player, aside from it being very short I thought it was at least fun. If I liked MW2 single player would I enjoy this one?

I thought it was terrible and not even a shadow of COD4's.
 
Black Ops story > Cod MW2 and CoD 4 IMO. I think you would enjoy it.
 
Black Ops' SP doesn't take itself uber-seriously like COD4 and CODMW2 - it takes completely unfeasible and ridiculous scenarios and just runs with them rather than trying to convince the player of its own legitimacy like the last two IW CODs did.

It's supposed to be fun, and Treyarch approaches it as such.
 
Single player is pretty good. It will only take you 4-5 hours to complete it so do it. The multiplayer sucks ass. Worse than MW2!

MW2's single player was the crappiest of all the modern COD's.

COD: MW and COD: BO was miles ahead of MW2's single player.

Black Ops is just fun and not ridiculous like MW2. Also, I recommend playing on Vetran mode to get the most gameplay out of it.

That just turns you into a bullet magnet. Not my idea of fun, having your fellow soldiers do 0 damage and the enemies only going for you.

I enjoy the challenge though. Playing for 2 days just to get around one single corner in veteran mode is something I found enjoyable in BO where I hated it in MW1&2 because it was like a puzzle game where I had to find the exact combination of attack and movement in order to reach the next checkpoint.
