Black ops @ 1920x1080, default settings runs "ok", but I can feel the lag when in a gun fight and its driving me crazy.

if I drop res/texture settings/anything else it runs WORSE.

Any other 4870 X2 users having luck with Black Ops? if so what driver are you running?
 
I am having really bad problems with my 5870's X2 like 30-40 fps with all settings on low.
 
It's already been confirmed that there's some kind of bug at work for very many users.

One thing that might help is actually turning on Multi-threading in the config file and turning off Multi-GPU for those who don't have it. These options were for some reason apparently left off and on respectively by default.
 
FWIW, I've played the first level of SP with the rig in my sig at 5760x1080 4xAA everything maxed and it's staying around 45-70 fps, so xfire appears to be working properly for me.
