Hey everyone, I have a quck question about choosing a radiator. I want to cool my CPU, GPU, and NB (Cuplex Evo, Twinplex Pro GPU, and Twinplex NB). Would I be better off going with a BIPIII or would the BIPII be good enough to last for what I'm cooling?

I guess it all comes down to the hasstle of installing a 3x120 vs a 2x120mm radiator...If you have the room (or the patience) the bip3 is obviously going to perform better. That said the bip2 will probably do the job so long as you have some decent airflow going through it.

the bip2 will do the job, but if you have the space (like a CM Stacker) then by all means, hook up the bip3 since it isnt that much more expensive.

:) I vote the bip3 if youve got the room as it keeps my 2 7800's and my 165 all under 40c load.

holy shite that's the best price i've ever seen on that .. might be typo

m u s t r e s i s t

buy it! cuz i had to pay like 85 for a USED thermochill triple PA. so half that for a decent triple rad is a must buy!

It doesn't say on Directron, but I'm assuming it doesn't come with fittings? Where would you buy high quality fittings and appropriate O-rings to go along with it?

Lastly, if this will fit in a stacker, do you think it will fit in a TT Armor case in the front?

Thanks.

Ah thanks, I assumed otherwise because it usually asks you on dangerden if you want 3/8 or 1/2.

Thanks.

Still would like to know if anyone thinks this will fit in a TT armor, I'm assuiming using a RADBOX will completely cover the expansion slots in the back?

the bip III will fit in the front of an armor but you will only have like 1 maybe 2 front drive bays free

it would probably only cover the outer half, but, yes it would go down below the pci slots, look into modding the base of the case and mount it there

Well I ordered one on impulse at that price I can only look forward to it being out of stock if I wait until summer as per plan to build my new rig.

Before I was going to go with a BIPROII on the front and a Regular BIPRO on the exhuast 120. But I believe I read somewhere in all my research in this forum that the water temperature in the loop would be constant regardless of what point a radiator is in the loop. so If I had a BIPROII -> Res-> PUMP->CPU->BIPRO->GPU->CHIPSET->BIPROII it would not matter. Not even if the BIPROII went directly into a BIPRO the water moves so fast that it would even out with the heat being dispated and wouldn't help cool the GPU any better regardless if another rad was placed before it or elsewhere in the loop.

With this theory I am assuming I am better off flow restriction wise with a BIPROIII if I want the level of cooling afforded by an BIPROII + BIPRO or better. Also this should help case temps as the exhuast 120 can function as an exhaust unrestricted by a radiatior.

Is my theory sound or do I have it all wrong?

it's all wrong .. jk

sounds good

i like the fact that you'll have a true exahust ...

bipIII rules .. for the price you can keep your thermochill PA 3.120 ...

mal

hahaha yea i know mal. thats why it kinda hurts. but then i keep repeating to myself that "it'll keep the opty under control.... it'll keep the opty under control..." hahaha

it works!

i got nothing against the thermos .. they are in fact suprerior .. .i just can't justify the price of them ...

bipIII for under 40 shipped ... game over ..

mal

edit: you could get two for still less than the price of one pa 3.120
