I recently worked on a friend's computer and their audio was working, as far as I understand. They have their cheap-ass speakers connected through a sound card on the back and it's all fine and dandy. We replaced the batteries in the speakers themselves (I stress cheap-ass), and it was still okay. I changed around the connections from the sound card to the CD-ROM drive to a CD-RW drive and back again to the original one, never changing where the CD-Audio Input was on the sound card. Now there's no sound. I'm sure I connected everything back into the right place. Any suggestions?
