BitTorrent Hashing slow for everyone?

I tried to download a single large file last night (a little over 4GB total) and hashing took nearly 30 mins on my machine. Does everyone else experience this slowdown, at which time my single threaded machine is worthless

Use another method. Shadow has a lot of options.

30Min.
Mine take all night and I have DSL.
What are you using as your torrent agent?
