BIP vs. Thermochill

For those of you that have tried BIP and Thermochill Rads; I am interested in your findings, pros and cons.
 
I have not used either, but am planning on buying a black ice radiator in a few days. I had considered the Thermochill radiators, but there is a large difference in the thickness of the PA and BIP. The Thermochill PA120.2 is 59mm thick; the Black Ice Pro II is 25mm thick! My application is a SFF PC, so space is a premium concern.

Just like H20 blocks, I have not found a noticeable diference between the two. Like you, I prefer a lower profile, no matter what the system. One thing for sure, they are both quality components.
 
I can't understand why anyone would consider to spend ~$130 on a PA.3 when a BIP.3 can be had for $30 @ Directron. The difference in temperature at best is a couple of degrees.
At that rate, why not buy 2xBIP.3 and another D5 for for about (total) ~150. It would surely yield much better temps than one expensive Thermochill radiator ...

Maybe this is slighty OT, but why bother with Thermochill when heatercores are extremely cheap and, when found in the right places, cheaper than Black Ices.

On topic, I'd rather spend less than more for a small performance decrease. Not everyone that uses small bore cooling is into big prices.
