Does the Biostar TFORCE6100-939 support Opteron 146 socket 939 chips?

it dosnt list them on there website.

Yes

Mine can go to 300FSB but I need more Voltage which I cant get :(

Great board...

Thanks very much. i wonder why they dont post it on there compatibility charts. i suppose it should work on any socket 939 board.

Thanks again

Mainly because those Opterons are targeted towards the workstation market, though we know better .. :p

Haa ha to true to true, you would think the would use the so sucsessfull opterons, especially the ones with the good steppings, re badge them and sell them as overclockers with a completely new name.... that would be wise marketing. they could call it the optoclocker! yeah....has a ring to it.

that would really hit the enthusiats market cos as it stands it is lucky dip! i got 2 this week from scan, one was cacje and other was cab2e, got the cacje stable at 2.6 so not to hot but still a 600 overclock aint nothin to complain about. need a new MATX to clock the nuts out of this cab2e!

The same thing happened with the XP-Mobiles... once someone put a socket A mobile in a regular mainboard and overclocked the snot out of it, the word got out... ;)
