BIOS voltage vs CPUZ voltage

Alright, which voltage do you follow:
1) Voltage value manually set in BIOS
2) Voltage value reported in BIOS
3) Voltage value as reported by CPUZ

I have set my cpu voltage to 1.43V in BIOS, the BIOS reports vcore as 1.36V and CPUZ in XP reports vcore as 1.4V. So which one is right and which one is the most significant. Also, is there a problem that there is such a gap between the vcore manually set in the BIOS and the vcore reported by CPUZ? i have a 1kw psu on the way in case you guys think i am stressing my "little" 600w psu too much

I've used HWMonitor, cpuz and Abit uGuru all at the same time and they all are different.

My vcore fluctuates 1.26 to 1.35 all the time, it never remains constant. It might be my PS, I've bought it new six weeks ago.

What I focused on was making it Prime95 stable, and monitor temps. And haven't had any problems. So I quit worrying about it.

Hope this helps, and my PS might be bad to. Maybe someone will post a better reply soon.

I believe you're seeing vdroop at work. It is normal. It is also by design. I'd post a link, but searching is disabled at the moment as you know.

Well, the one you've set is the target, so that one isn't really good for using as "the" figure (mine's set to 1.2500V, but it's always lower than that). The problem you're going to get with using the BIOS is that voltage changes as you use the CPU (such as the infamous Vdroop under load). I've tended to use CPU-Z, but I have no idea if it's reliable. Don't forget that programs may be rounding differently (HWMonitor is rounding to 1 decimal place, while CPU-Z shows 3).
