BIOS video settings question

I just looked through my BIOS to see if I could boost performance, and noticed two options in the Video section disabled. They are [probably not exact] AGP Master 1 Read, and AGP Master 1 Write. I've had bad experiences with computers and not having a clue of what I'm doing, so I don't want to change them to risk creating future trouble. So, my simple question is this: on, or off?
