I have a quick question.
I have P965 DS3 with F6 Bios.I will update it to F7 today.I read that in order to update you need to have stock speed...It's mean that If I later OC and do some tweaking with voltage I wont be able to update Bios anymore??

Sorry I'm newbie

Why are you flashing to a new BIOS? If you're already running stable...

What it means is that, to do the actual update, you need to be at stock. You can overclock all you want before, or after the update, but DURING the install of the update you should be running at STOCK speeds!

Anyways, reset the CMOS battery (with the jumper on the board, or by taking the battery out... Instructions are in your mobo manual) before you install the update, to get everything to stock settings... then install the update, THEN reset the CMOS again.

Then boot into windows. Shut down, and re-do your OC.

I have a problem with installing my wireless PCI card in the system.Everytime I tried to install drivers PC got frozen, always in same spot.
I just tought maybe updating Bios may resolve the problem.
I dont have a problem with same wireless card in my old rig.

What happens if you aren't at stock when you do this? I think a couple of settings were accidentally not stock when I updated. Everything seems fine.
