On the system I am currently using, the startup has nearly slowed to a crawl. In the main screen, the processor type and brand is listed, but the system comes to a dead halt in the continuation of the startup process for a minute, then loads up Windows just fine. Is there any particular cause for such a situation? I loaded DirectX 9.0c, which caused me to need to restart. It was on the subsequent booting up that this started happening. Weird, but any remedies?
