Hello,
on my rampage formula i have an option in the bios called "EIST" can i disable this or leave it enabled?
I run an intel E8400 at stock speeds.
I heard that enabling EIST may cause errors.

thx for help in advanced.

You can leave that EIST enabled, because that is an energy saving function - it will not cause errors or any problems on a non OC-ed rig.
If you overclocked your CPU and the mobo doesn't have a good loadline calibration or the OC it's unstable, then it may cause problems, but not always. ;)
