Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
do local comp shops do bios flashing bcus i want to buy a new board and dunno if it comes with the proper bios version and none of my friend have intel cpu's... so......................................................... yeah
just do it yourself. it sounds worse than it really is. Just be careful and do everything correctly and your good to go. Its really easy. It generally takes me 10 minutes to flash my bios so no worries.
sorry i think u misunderstood, i will be buying a new board and cpu... and i have no way of flashing it UNLESS it is already updated from asus factory because i have no older 775 cpu's.
you can also go to ebay and do a search for "bios chip" look for a vendor named ANGELIB I have used him many times excellent communicator and very fast shipping >>>>> usually costs about $10.00 to $15.00 with shipping. Far faster than Asus; although thats a good appraoch too.
you just tell the bios vendor your board maker and model and which bios revision you want (latest) and away you go
