BIOS breakdown?

I tried a couple googles for bios info on my mobo. Is there anywhere to see what each setting in my bios actually does. Some have descriptions, some don't. I'd like to have head wrapped around each setting before I go full into oc land.

I've been out of the loop for far too long as my last desktop was...
P4 3.0c under sp-94 with enermax 92mm fan
Asus p4p800-dlx
1gb ocz pc3200 platinum edition 2-2-2-5
X850 pro (flashed to x850xtpe with ati silencer 5)

I had that oc to 3.75 for daily use. And 267fsb for benchmarks (or 4ghz). With a sp-94 cooler (bought it just before the xp-120 came out. I was pissed)

So yeah the days of setting fsb:ddr ratio, men voltage, vcore, and fsb speed are long gone and there is way more in the bios now. Any links?

Thanks

look for a review on your motherboard.. most reviews show the bios and talk about most of the important settings.

but either way with the 2500k the only things you need to mess with is the cpu voltage and cpu multiplier and/or turbo multipliers if you want to use that to overclock the processor instead of the standard cpu multiplier.

I'd just like speed step to work with oc. Turbo can beturned off IMO. If anything other than speed step MHz is needed then it's gonna be running hard.
